Students of Arabic and beginners are often confronted with two problems: the basic vocabulary and difficulties in pronouncing the words. After two or three courses, one might have learnt a few hundred words and noted them in a few notebooks. When one wants to find one word, all notebooks have to be looked through. When the word has been found, one often asks oneself whether they can pronounce the word correctly and whether the word has been correctly copied. A well-organised student tries to keep his basic vocabulary in an alphabetical order. This takes time and patience.
With this book we try to offer a basic vocabulary of 1400 words in fully vocalised Arabic:
English/ Phonetics/ Egyptian Arabic
Egyptian Arabic/ Phonetics/ English
in alphabetical order.
